This is a good site for students to use for projects, or a resource to show examples of propaganda.

North Carolina Newspaper Digitization Project

The North Carolina Newspaper Digitization Project, found here, is a collection dating from 1751 through 1898. It is a good source of primary source documents for early US history. It include a search function that can be limited by year or regional newspaper.
